Communication & Collaboration tools in Education
Communication and collaboration are some of the most important ideas in 21st century education. While these ideas have not necessarily been commonplace throughout history in classrooms, these ideas are becoming more prominent in everyday life and the workplace. Communication and collaboration are skills that students will need to employ for the rest of their lives, so it is the 21st century teacher’s responsibility to start early and teach students to work together and learn from each others’ thoughts and ideas.
While simple in-class discussions may be the easiest route to promote communication and collaboration, there are a variety of tools that teachers can use to enhance the discussions and collaboration that occur.
